The Essence of Emeril's insobriety
A source of amusement for me: Emeril Legasse is all fucked up. In Episode EE2D19 (Roux) of his "Essence of Emeril" show, on Food TV, he appears to be all kinds of screwed up on something. Spaced out, eyes half shut, takes a few seconds before he says anything, sputtering out sentence fragments, and slow, exaggerated movements with diminished co-ordination. Could be he's bombed, but his speech isn't slurred. Perhaps he's high as a kite. I wouldn't rule out pshychedelics either. So funny.

Ah, nothing quite like bar-going riff-raff to spice up your evening. And it makes it even more exciting to know that people like this are on the road at 1:30 AM. Wheee...
